Ray worked with a major collector of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art from 1996-2013, helping him build a wonderful collection. This double-sided painting by Paul Signac, executed just before his Pointillist phase, was purchased early on in 1999 and, 8 years later, the collector asked us to sell it. We found a private client to purchase the work within a few months who, in turn, recently sold it. Both our clients made handsome profits.
